It operates as a normal, open differential until you decide you need more traction. Designed for all-wheel-drive systems, it allows you to engage or disengage the differential locks whenever necessary. With a switch on the dashboard, you can instantly change it from an open state to a 100% locked state. By pressing the switch again, the system can be disengaged, and the differential returns to its normal, open state.
